It's not really a forum here, just a guestbook to say hello. I used to visit the Yahoo groups "benders" and "benders_anonimous" a lot.

I "emulated" the SK 1 in 3 specific Plugins, if you have interest feel free to mail me

i´m searching for a Owners Manual SK 5, and i found absolut nothing at the web ...
Did you have a tip ?? I had a Sk 1 in the early 80´s, the Sk 5 are new in my hands, and i wouldt like to have some fun with it ;-)

Do you have the DH-100 service manual in another format (e.g., as a pdf?) Or is there some way with a Mac to download the .rar version as a file that I can hit with Stuffit, instead of just getting it in a Safari window?

weet ik allemaal, maar door die mod kan hij niet meer uit, het lichtje blijft branden en ook de speaker blijft aan nadat je hem op off schuift (weet ik omdat mijn volumeknop-mod kraakt)... er komt wel geen sound uit, dus in dat opzicht staat hij wel "uit".
verder heb ik nu onlangs gemerkt-tijdens een liveset dan nog-dat hij uiteindelijk wel uitgaat, of beter, het lichtje blijft branden, maar de sound gaat uit..
Waarschijnlijk is dit alles omdat het aan/uitzetten via een pulse gaat.

Hé Wim,
De sk-1 zet zichzelf uit als gedurende 7 minuten geen toetsen of knoppen worden ingedrukt. Dit is de "auto power off " functie. De mod zorgt dat dit niet meer gebeurt. Je kunt de sk-1 nog wel uitzetten met de uit schuifknop.
The auto power off mod disables the sk-1's automatic shut-off after 7 minutes of not pressing any buttons or keys (this deletes your sample wich you may not want). It leaves the sk-1 on, buy you can still switch it off manually.
I'll check to see if this needs further clarifying. Thanks Wim...

Sorry for the late reply.
IWhen you remove the slider and connect the square copper contactswith momentary switches you can manually start each pattern with 4 switches, no delay.

i recently purchased a beat blender and i intend to do some circuit bending. so i was very interested in your circuit bent instruments. you state that you have managed to overcome the pause after the 4th pattern (which is indeed a weird 'feature'...) can you tell me how you did it?

hey anonimous, go to www.stikka.net in the "stuff" section you can download a zip with diagrams how to bypass the filter & get a much brighter sounding sk-1
